Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 For Fujifilm X Mount. The Perfect Kit Lens?
The new (for X Mount) Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary lens is an amazingly compact zoom lens for the Fujifilm X Series. As small as the famous XF18-55mm f/2.8-4 R OIS (but lighter), this made-in-Japan zoom lens from Sigma has a constant f/2.8 aperture throughout the entire zoom range. Although as compact as a kit lens, this Sigma zoom lens performs closer to Fujifilm's professional zoom lenses. This is my first shooting impressions of this lens. This is a long video so buckle your seatbelt!! The time has finally arrived to announce the brand new Fujifilm X-H2S. It's not just a new camera, but the release of the fifth-generation sensor and processor combination on the 10th anniversary of the X-Mount. The new Fujifilm X-H2S has the latest 26MP X-Trans V Stacked BSI CMOS Sensor and the X-Processor V with AI Digital Signal Processor 1GHz main + 600MHz sub (for IBIS). I was a huge fan of the original X-H1 and I'm glad Fujifilm decided to keep it in the line-up, but how much has it strayed from the original design and concept? Is it worth selling your X-T4, or should you wait for the X-T5? Is this camera more for videographers, or can photographers still utilize the power and speed of this new sensor and processor? Let's find out.
